An official assessment that occurs in the interim between certifications is called an ISO surveillance audit. Surveillance audits may occur twice a year, although they might occur as early as 12 months.
The primary focus of ISO auditors is on whether your company is still adhering to pertinent QMS standards and assembling the essential ISO requirements.
In order to ensure that your company has taken the necessary actions to address any issues discovered in prior ISO audits, they will also get in touch with you regarding them.
At least once a year, surveillance audits are conducted. The first supervision audit following certification should take place no later than 12 months following the last day of the audit's second phase.
The choice to retain certification is made after assessing the accuracy of the certification process, including surveillance operations, using the audit document and the lead auditor's fine proposals.
